Model Directory

Models Page

The Model Directory is a browsable catalog of all AI models available in Aisle. Navigate to Model List from the organization menu in the sidebar, or click View all models from the chat launcher.

What's shown​

Models are grouped by provider: Anthropic, OpenAI, Google (Gemini), xAI, and OpenRouter. Each model card shows its name and capability badges.

Capability badges:

  • MCP Support - the model can use MCP tool integrations
  • Thinking - the model supports an extended reasoning step
  • Web Search - the model supports live web search
  • File Handling - the model can read uploaded files

Model detail​

Click any model to open its detail page.

Model Detail

The detail page shows:

Specifications:

  • Context window (total tokens the model can handle in one conversation)
  • Max output (maximum response length)
  • Temperature range
  • Whether extended thinking, web search, MCP support, and structured output are available

Supported file formats - the file types the model can read when files are uploaded. Typically includes images (WEBP, PNG, JPEG, GIF) and documents (PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and plain text formats).

Quick actions:

  • Chat with this model - opens a new chat conversation with this model pre-selected
  • Use in Playground - opens a new Playground column with this model

Which models are available​

Your organization's admins control which models are available. If a model you need is not visible, contact your admin to have it enabled. See Model Providers for admin setup.
